Syrian, Russian forces advance to Zamlat Al-Mahr after liberating four imperative hilltops from ISIS in NE Homs

On Monday evening, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” – backed by the Desert Hawks Brigade, Russian Marines, and National Defense Forces (NDF) – imposed full control over the rolling hills of Zamlat Al-Mahr in northeast Homs after a day long battle with the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).

AhlulBayt News Agency - On Monday evening, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” – backed by the Desert Hawks Brigade, Russian Marines, and National Defense Forces (NDF) – imposed full control over the rolling hills of Zamlat Al-Mahr in northeast Homs after a day long battle with the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).

The Syrian Armed Forces and their allies were able to advance to Zamlat Al-Mahr after liberating four imperative hilltops from the ISIS terrorists in the northeastern countryside of Homs on Sunday.

With the liberation of Zamlat Al-Mahr on Monday evening, the Syrian Armed Forces and Russian Marines are now within striking distance of the strategic Al-Sha’ar Gas Fields in Jabal Al-Sha’ar (Poet Mountains).
